The all-American fighting machine OMAC is pitted against the equally destructive Shrapnel in a chaotic fight to the finish, but the architect behind the battle is the mysterious, balance-obsessed villain Libra.

Warner Home Video Re-Releasing “Batman: Gotham Knight” In New Holiday Collection

On November 3rd, 2009, Warner Home Video is slated to release the Blu-ray Batman Collection, bringing together the Blu-ray releases for The Dark Knight, Batman Begins and Batman: Gotham Knight into one collection. The new Blu-ray Batman Collection release will feature all three titles housed in a new cardboard slipcase and retail for the suggested price of $49.99. The discs will be identical to the existing releases, meaning no change in technical specs or new bonus content.

The Batman: Gotham Knight animated feature previously premiered on home video, DVD and Blu-ray, in 2008 to coincide with the live-action The Dark Knight theatrical release. Below is the official synopsis for the feature along with images.

The Caped Crusader faces a new villain in the upcoming Batman: The Brave & The Bold episode, Mayhem of the Music Meister! The episode, from Warner Bros Animation, features the voice of Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog) as the Music Meister, a menacing villain who is able to exert powerful mind-control through song. Producers and cast members received a standing ovation following a sneak-preview at Comic-Con this past July and, after much anticipation, the episode will finally air Friday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network.

On Saturday, October 24, New Line Records will release Batman: The Brave & The Bold: Mayhem of the Music Meister! Soundtrack from the Animated Television Show digitally on iTunes and other digital music outlets. Amazon.com will offer fans the exclusive option of purchasing either a hard or digital copy of the soundtrack. The soundtrack will feature all five original songs from the episode as well as the highly sought Batman: The Brave & The Bold theme.

“Green Lantern: First Flight” Score Soundtrack CD Release Now Available For Purchase

The new La-La Land Records CD release of Robert J. Kral’s score to the direct-to-video Green Lantern: First Flight animated feature is now available to own through the La-La Land Records website. The CD release of Green Lantern: First Flight is a limited edition collector’s release of 1500 copies which is only available through the La-La Land Records website and other online soundtrack specialty stores. New “Batman: The Brave And The Bold” Episodes Scheduled, Score Soundtrack Planned

A representative for Cartoon Network confirmed for the The World’s Finest last week on the official message board for this site, The DC Animation Forum, that new episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold are slated to return to the network later this month. The first new episode, “When OMAC Attacks,” is slated to air Friday, October 16th, 2009 at 7:30pm (ET) on Cartoon Network. Further schedule details are available below, while an official announcement is expected to be released shortly.

New episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold are scheduled to premiere Fridays at 7:30pm (ET) on Cartoon Network, followed by a first-run repeat at 10:00am (ET) the following Saturday and then at various times throughout the week, beginning Friday, October 16th, 2009.

In further Batman: The Brave and The Bold news, New Line Records has recently revealed the upcoming Batman: The Brave and The Bold – Mayhem of the Music Meister! soundtrack as both an Amazon-only compact disc release and a legal iTunes download.
