DC Comics Releasing New Printing Of Lauded “Batman Adventures: Mad Love” Comic

Official details for the upcoming new printing of the celebrated Batman Adventures: Mad Love one-shot comic book are available below, provided by DC Comics. Please note DC Comics has slightly modified the title from Batman Adventures: Mad Love to Batman: Mad Love. Final artwork for the title is not yet available, though temporary artwork has been provided.

The surprisingly dark origin of Harley Quinn is explored in this Eisner Award-winning special co-starring Batman, The Joker and Poison Ivy! Emmy Award-winning Batman: The Animated Series producers Bruce Timm (Justice League, Batman Beyond) and Paul Dini (Detective Comics, Lost) team up once again for this Animated Series-style tale, which was previously packaged with the Batman: Mad Love Collector Set from DC Direct.

The 64-page Prestige Format one-shot release will retail for $5.99US. The new printing of Batman Adventures: Mad Love will hit shelves September 8th, 2010.

Latest Issue Of “Batman: The Brave And The Bold” DC Comic Series Now Available

Batman: The Brave and The Bold #17, the latest installment of the spin-off comic series from DC Comics based on the animated series airing on Cartoon Network, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. The Bat-phone is ringing off the hook as The Dark Knight teams up with some unlikely allies and classic heroes in “A Batman’s Work is Never Done!”

The cover price for Batman: The Brave and The Bold #17 is $2.50US.

Disney XD Network Airing Classic “Superman: The Animated Series” Finale This Month

The Disney XD network has provided schedule details for the classic Superman: The Animated Series two-part series finale scheduled to air on the network later this month, in May 2010. The two-part series finale, “Legacy,” features Superman battling the evil Darkseid. Superman: The Animated Series airs Mondays at 2:00am (ET) on Disney XD. Please note the schedule information listed below is provided by Disney XD.

Monday, May 31st, 2010 – “Legacy, Part One”
Darkseid strips Superman of his memory and adopts him as a son in an effort to take over Earth.

Monday, June 7th, 2010 – “Legacy, Part Two”
After breaking free of Darkseid’s control and realizing the damage he’s done, Superman discovers Metropolis now fears him and must put a stop to Darkseid no matter what it takes.
