Details For Upcoming New “Young Justice” Episodes Debuting In January 2011

Cartoon Network has released early schedule details for the January 2011 installments of Young Justice, the new animated series from Warner Bros. Animation. Young Justice is slated to air Fridays at 7pm (ET) on Cartoon Network beginning January 7th, 2011. The schedule break-down is as follows below.

January 7th, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET)
Young Justice – “Independence Day (Part One)”
Justice League sidekicks Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad investigate a lab fire and end up finding a clone of Superman.

January 14th, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET)
Young Justice – “Fireworks (Independence Day, Part Two)”
Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad rescue Superboy from Cadmus.

January 21st, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET)
Young Justice – “Welcome to Happy Harbor”
Young Justice mistakenly think the evil Mister Twister is actually Red Tornado “testing” them.

January 28th, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET)
Young Justice – “Drop Zone”
Young Justice’s first official mission, and they don’t even have a leader yet.

The Young Justice episode scheduled to air Friday, February 4th, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET) is titled “Schooled.”

Early plot details include the team facing off against Mister Twister, the first official Young Justice team mission, and an exploration of their training. Detailed episode loglines, along with further media and descriptions, are set for release soon.

Again, Young Justice will become a regular fixture of the Cartoon Network Friday-night programming block beginning Friday, January 7th, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET) beginning with an encore presentation of the two-part “Independence Day” episode spread over the first two weeks. Cartoon Network will also encore episode broadcasts the following Sunday at 8:00pm (ET).
