Teletoon Retro Planning Special Marathon For “Batman: The Animated Series”
Teletoon Retro is currently planning to schedule a special marathon of classic Batman: The Animated Series episodes as a result of a recent fan survey the network conducted. The network recently held the “Teletoon Retro Hall of Fame” event, allowing viewers to choose their top five favorite characters from the network line-up most deserving. The winning characters would each receive special marathons of their respective series, the marathons currently scheduled to be held at the end of December 2010.
Batman was one of the top five characters chosen and, in effect, the network is tentatively scheduled to hold a marathon of Batman: The Animated Series episodes later this month. The other top-five characters in the “Teletoon Retro Hall of Fame” vote include Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, Optimus Prime and Spider-Man. Each respective character will also receive a special dedicated marathon.
Teletoon Retro currently airs the first 52 episodes of Batman: The Animated Series in daily rotation at 2am (ET). Stay tuned for further schedule updates and exclusive content here soon at The World’s Finest.
