Warner Home Video Reveals New Animated Batman Compilation DVD Release

A new three-disc DVD home video compilation release from Warner Home Video, featuring assorted animated Batman adventures, has been announced. The release, titled 3-Pack Fun: Batman, features previously released material from Batman: The Brave and The Bold, The Batman and Superman: The Animated Series. Details Revealed For Upcoming New Episode Of “Young Justice” Cartoon Series

The classic Batman villain Bane will be featured in the upcoming Young Justice episode “Drop Zone,” the fourth installment of the new animated series airing on Cartoon Network. Young Justice airs new episodes Fridays at 7:00pm (ET) on Cartoon Network, with encore presentations the following Sunday at 8:00pm (ET).

In the episode “Drop Zone,” Batman sends Young Justice on their first official mission to investigate the production of a new drug called Venom in a nearby rogue country. The teen heroes soon find themselves in the middle of a war between Bane and the cult organization Kobra.

Bane will be voiced by cult actor Danny Trejo. “Drop Zone” is currently slated to air at 7:00pm (ET) on Friday, January 28th, 2011 on Cartoon Network, with preliminary details available here.

The episode will also continue with subplots introduced in the two-part Young Justice series opener and the third episode, “Welcome to Happy Harbor.” “Welcome to Happy Harbor,” scheduled to air tonight, Friday, at 7:00pm (ET) on Cartoon Network, will also fully introduce Miss Martian and the character’s backstory. DC Comics has released comic solicitation information for the publisher’s April 2011 library of releases, including details for The All-New Batman: The Brave and The Bold #6, the revamped comic title based on the popular Batman: The Brave and The Bold animated series. Preview Images For First Issue Of “Young Justice” Comic Series, Now Available

Young Justice #0, the first issue of the new DC Comics title based on the new Cartoon Network animated series, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. The issue, written by Greg Weisman and Kevin Hopps with artwork by Mike Norton, expands upon the conclusion of the two-part Young Justice “Independence Day” series premier. Voice Cast Updates, Characters Revealed For “Young Justice” Animated Series

New cast listings for the Young Justice animated series have been revealed. The recent encore presentations of “Independence Day” and “Fireworks (Independence Day, Part Two),” the two-part series opener for the new Young Justice series airing on Cartoon Network, have listed the following details concerning voice actors and characters slated to appear in future episodes of the series.

John DeLancie as Mr. Twister/Brom Stikk
