Cartoon Network Announces “DC Nation” Panel For 2012 San Diego Comic-Con
Panel Descriptions for Cartoon Network events at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con have been officially released, including details on panels dedicated to the DC Nation programming block. The panel will highlight current series airing on the block and what is coming in the months ahead. Please note that scheduled times and dedicated panels are subject to change. The Nation is coming to San Diego! DC Nation — Cartoon Network’s one-hour action and comedy programming block starring some of the most beloved and legendary heroes of the DC Universe — will make its first-ever Comic-Con appearance. In addition to exclusive video content for fan-favorite series Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice, the panel will also present sneak peeks at two highly anticipated upcoming DC Nation series: Beware The Batman and Teen Titans Go! The panel of super hero goodness will feature top animation producers Glen Murakami (Teen Titans), Mitch Watson (Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated), Michael Jelenic (ThunderCats), Aaron Horvath (MAD) and Jeff Prezenkowski, director of series and shorts at Warner Bros. Animation.
An exact timeslot for the panel will be revealed shortly.
Comic-Con International returns to the San Diego Convention Center on July 12th – 15th, 2012, with Preview Night on July 11th. The convention is held every year, focusing on host of different genres and pop culture events. Further convention schedule details can be found at the official San Diego Comic-Con website.
Warner Home Video is also expected to announce details on the San Diego Comic Con 2012 premiere of the Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part One direct-to-video animated feature, along with details on the panel dedicated to the DC Comics Premiere Movie line. Additionally, other related panels are subject to be announced at a later date.
