Studio Confirms Delay For Upcoming “Young Justice: Legacy” Video Game
A representative for Little Orbit, the studio handling the upcoming Young Justice: Legacy video game, based on the acclaimed Cartoon Network animated series inspired by DC Comics, has confirmed the video game title is not expected to hit shelves in February 2013. Young Justice: Legacy, released by Little Orbit in conjuncture with Warner Bros. Interactive, is an Action-RPG based on the popular Young Justice animated series. The new video game will launch for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS and Wii. The title is now expected to arrive as early as March 2013.
According to the representative, “We are still working very hard on the game and additional content for distribution. As soon as we have something we will get it out to you. We have not announced a specific ship date as of yet and have always targeted a Q1 2013 date, which has not changed.”
Partial confirmed reason for the delay is the amount of content set to be included in the game. A substantial voice cast and amount of cut scenes were two specific reasons stated by the representative. Word of a delay leaked earlier this week through the official Facebook site for the Young Justice: Legacy video game.
