“Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite” Set For The Paley Center New York Debut

Warner Home Video has announced a February 2013 debut at the The Paley Center New York location for Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite, the upcoming direct-to-video animated feature. The animated feature, based on the acclaimed Lego videogame series, is set to hit home video and download come May 21st, 2013. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and The Paley Center for Media proudly present the World Premiere of Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite, an all-new film from TT Animation based on its popular video game. The film will have its World Premiere in New York on February 11, 2013, with filmmakers and members of the voice cast in attendance for red carpet media interviews and a post-screening panel discussion.

Media interviews will begin at 5:15 p.m. and the screening will commence at 6:30 p.m. Following the screening, cast and filmmakers will discuss the movie – led by TT Animation’s award-winning director/producer Jon Burton, and renowned videogame/animation actors Troy Baker (Bioshock Infinite, Batman: Arkham City) as Batman and Travis Willingham (Avengers Assemble, The Super Hero Squad Show) as Superman. Additional panelists will be announced as confirmed.

Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite Unite provides the ultimate blend of action and humor guaranteed to entertain fanboys of all ages. The film finds Lex Luthor taking jealousy to new heights when fellow billionaire Bruce Wayne wins the Man of the Year Award. To top Wayne’s accomplishment, Lex begins a campaign for President – and to create the atmosphere for his type of fear-based politics, he recruits the Joker to perfect a Black LEGO Destructor Ray. While wreaking havoc on Gotham, Lex successfully destroys Batman’s technology – forcing the Caped Crusader to reluctantly turn to Superman for help.

Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite features the definitive voice of Lex Luthor, Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption, SpongeBob SquarePants). In addition to Baker and Willingham, the cast includes Christopher Smith (Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe) as the Joker, and Charlie Schlatter (Diagnosis Murder) in a hilarious turn as the voice of Robin.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has set May 21, 2013 as its release date for Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite on Blu-ray and DVD.

The Paley Center in New York City is located at 25 West 52nd Street. There is no attached parking, however there is ample parking in numerous structures surrounding the Paley Center.

A limited number of free tickets are available to the general public. Fans wishing to receive free tickets to the New York event on February 11 must RSVP via email to LegoBatmanTheMovie@gmail.com.

The body of all qualifying fan RSVP emails MUST include the following (please only this information):

A valid email address
The name of the media outlet/website by which the entrant learned of the screening

Warner Bros. Consumer Products Releases New “Beware The Batman,” “Teen Titans Go!” Images

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has released new images from the upcoming animated series Beware The Batman and Teen Titans Go!. The new images were released in conjunction with the launch of Toy Fair 2013, with Warner Bros. Consumer Products showing off brands and licenses for upcoming entertainment events and programs. Toy Fair is the largest toy and youth product marketplace in the Western Hemisphere, bringing together more than 1,000 exhibiting manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from around the globe to showcase their toy and entertainment products. Teen Titans Go! is set to join the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network starting April 2013, with Beware The Batman to follow Summer 2013. Teen Titans Go!
Featuring the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg in all-new, comedic adventures, Teen Titans Go! will premiere in April 2013. Character-driven comedy is the order of the day as this new take on the superhero series focuses on the funny business that happens between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. The series stars the principal voice cast from the original Teen Titans, and is produced by Warner Bros. Animation.

Beware the Batman
A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this action-packed detective thriller deftly redefines what we have come to know as a “Batman show.” Featuring cutting-edge CGI visuals, Beware the Batman, based on characters from DC Comics, is coming to Cartoon Network’s DC Nation block in Summer 2013.

“Young Justice: Invasion,” “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” Episodes For February 2013

All-new episodes of both Young Justice: Invasion and Green Lantern: The Animated Series are slated to air on Cartoon Network for the month of February 2013. Both series air back-to-back as part of the hour-long DC Nation programming block, airing Saturdays at 10am (ET) on Cartoon Network, with encores on Sundays at 10am (ET/PT). New episodes of both series are airing straight through until the series finale of both come March 2013.

Young Justice: Invasion continues with all-new installments from the second season of the acclaimed animated series. Warner Home Video Releases New “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part Two” Video Clips, Images

New clips and a selection of images from the Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part Two animated feature have been released by Warner Home Video. The latest film in the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line, now available to own on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, Download, and onDemand, is the second in a two-part adaptation of the acclaimed 1980s comic series The Dark Knight Returns starring a retired Batman who dons the cape and cowl to deal with a city decaying into crime. The clip features Batman and the Joker finally putting a cap on their violent relationship in the Tunnel of Love. Michael Emerson (Lost, Person of Interest) offers the haunting voice of the Joker; Peter Weller (Robocop) is the commanding voice of Batman.

The additional clip features actor Mark Valley, who provides the voice of Superman in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part Two, introducing video content.
