Green Lantern: The Animated Series – “Loss”

Synopsis: The heroes attend a rebuilding ceremony between the Guardians and the Red Lanterns on their capitol planet, Ysmault. However, a rampant malfunctioning Manhunter threatens to derail the fragile state of peace between both sides.

DC Nation continues January 26th, 2013 at 10:00am (ET/PT) with an all-new season of episodes and animated shorts.

The DC Nation airs Saturdays at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with an encore Sunday at 10:00am (ET/PT). The block kicks off with an all-new episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series at 10:00am (ET/PT), followed with an all-new episode of Young Justice at 10:30am (ET/PT). DC Nation shorts air during commercial breaks of the two above-mentioned show, and rotate and change every week.

Warner Home Video Releases New “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part Two” Video Clip

An all-new original clip from the upcoming Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part Two animated feature has been released by Warner Home Video. The latest film in the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line, arriving on January 29th, 2012 to Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, Download, and onDemand, is the second in a two-part adaptation of the acclaimed 1980s comic series The Dark Knight Returns starring a retired Batman who dons the cape and cowl to deal with a city decaying into crime. The clip features the Joker showing his true colors in a guest appearance on The Dave Endochrine Show. Michael Emerson (Lost, Person of Interest) offers the hauntingly casual voice of Joker; real-life talk show host Conan O’Brien provides the voice of Dave Endochrine; and Michael McKean (This is Spinal Tap) is the voice of Dr. Wolper.

DC Comics Releases Latest Issue Of “Young Justice” Series, Available In Print And Digitally

Young Justice #24, the latest issue of the DC Comics title based on the current Cartoon Network animated series of the same name, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. This issue features scripting duties by Greg Weisman with Christopher Jones providing the art. Young Justice #24 continues the six-part story-arc featuring the characters and setting from the Young Justice: Invasion second-season setting, the final story-arc for the comic title. Warner Bros. Animation Offers Animation Scholarship, Details Available

Warner Bros. Animation has provided the following scholarship details for those interested in pursuing a career in animation. Continue below to view the press details and how to get more information.

2013 Warner Bros. Animation/Hanna-Barbera Honorship

Who: Any graduating high school senior enrolling in a college, university, or trade school to study animation.

What: Through the Warner Bros. Reach program, one outstanding student is awarded the Hanna-Barbera/Animation Honorship each year that includes a scholarship and four full-time paid internships at the company during four consecutive summers while enrolled in college. Successful Reach program graduates will be eligible for full-time positions at Warner Bros.

When: Application deadline is by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013

New “Young Justice: Destiny Calling” Two-Disc DVD Release Now Available

10 more episodes of the acclaimed Young Justice animated series, currently airing Saturdays at 10:30am (ET/PT) as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network, are now available on home video in a new two-disc DVD release. Young Justice: Destiny Calling collects ten episodes spread over two discs, bringing episodes from the second season of the acclaimed animated serues to home video for the first time. Three Batman: The Brave and The Bold episodes featuring the Blue Beetle are also included as bonus content.
