MPAA Officially Passes PG-13 Rating For “Superman: Unbound” Animated Feature
Falling in line with previous titles in the DC Universe Animated Original Movie direct-to-video feature line, the MPAA has officially handed down a PG-13 rating to the upcoming Superman: Unbound animated feature. Superman: Unbound, an adaptation of the acclaimed “Superman: Brainiac” by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, is set to hit shelves May 7th, 2013 on home video and through assorted digital and OnDemand outlets. The MPAA – Motion Picture Association of America – is an American trade association that represents the six big Hollywood studios and administers the MPAA film rating system. TITLE: Superman: Unbound
YEAR: 2013
RATING: PG-13
REASON: Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action, and a rude gesture.
DISTRIBUTOR: Warner Home Video
