New media has been provided by Cartoon Network for the upcoming all-new Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode “Love is a Battlefield.” The new Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode is scheduled to air at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 as part of the new DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network. Green Lantern: The Animated Series – “Love is a Battlefield”
Airs Saturday, February 16th

Synopsis: The evil Aya Monitor invades the planet Zamaron, blaming the Star Sapphires for the pain she feels from her heartbreak. The unsuspecting Carol Ferris is summoned to represent Love in a battle against Hate’s champion, Atrocitus of the Red Lantern Corps.

Package Artwork For Upcoming “Superman: Brainiac Attacks” Blu-ray Release

Warner Home Video has provided The World’s Finest with the package artwork for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Superman: Brainiac Attacks, the 2006 direct-to-video animated feature. Superman: Brainiac Attacks, arriving on Blu-ray March 12th, 2013, features Superman having to battle Lex Luthor and Brainiac while trying to help Lois Lane. The animated feature, originally released on DVD home video in 2006, was met with uniform negativity from both the fanbase and critics alike. Continue below to view the package artwork.

Superman: Brainiac Attacks, currently available on DVD, arrives to Blu-ray on March 12th, 2013. The animated feature Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman also hits Blu-ray on the same release date.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series #11, the latest issue of the ongoing DC Comics title based on the acclaimed animated series of the same name, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. A digital copy will also be available through ComiXology and DC Comics. MPAA Officially Passes PG-13 Rating For “Superman: Unbound” Animated Feature

Falling in line with previous titles in the DC Universe Animated Original Movie direct-to-video feature line, the MPAA has officially handed down a PG-13 rating to the upcoming Superman: Unbound animated feature. Superman: Unbound, an adaptation of the acclaimed “Superman: Brainiac” by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, is set to hit shelves May 7th, 2013 on home video and through assorted digital and OnDemand outlets. The MPAA – Motion Picture Association of America – is an American trade association that represents the six big Hollywood studios and administers the MPAA film rating system. TITLE: Superman: Unbound
YEAR: 2013
RATING: PG-13
REASON: Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action, and a rude gesture.
DISTRIBUTOR: Warner Home Video
