Exclusive Interview With “Superman: Unbound” Composer Kevin Kliesch

The World’s Finest caught up with Kevin Kliesch, who provided the music for the upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie Superman: Unbound, to discuss his work on the highly-anticipated animated feature.

Heavily involved in music from an early age, musician Kevin Kliesch has worked on a vast assortment of projects during his career. Composer for the recent Cartoon Network series ThunderCats, Kliesch’s other recent credits include Tangled Ever After, TMNT, X-Men: The Last Stand, and The Muppets, among other hits. His latest project is the film Superman: Unbound, which features music produced, engineered, orchestrated and performed by Kliesch. Katic And Bomer Talk Lois And Clark In New “Superman: Unbound” Interviews, New Video Clip

Warner Home Video has released a new clip from the upcoming Superman: Unbound animated feature, along with two additional interview clips with Matt Bomer and Stana Katic. Bomer voices Superman/Clark Kent in Superman: Unbound, with Katic providing the voice of Lois Lane. The interview clips feature Bomer and Katic discussing the relationship between their characters, Superman & Lois Lane. The clip from the movie presents a quiet scene between the couple. Hitting home video and digital outlets on May 7th, 2013, Superman: Unbound is the latest installment of the ongoing DC Universe Animated Original Movie line. Superman: Unbound adapts the acclaimed 2008 Action Comics storyline “Superman: Brainiac” by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank. Based on the Geoff Johns/Gary Frank 2008 release “Superman: Brainiac,” Superman: Unbound finds the Man of Steel aptly handling day-to-day crime while helping acclimate Supergirl to Earth’s customs and managing Lois Lane’s expectations for their relationship. Personal issues take a back seat when the horrific force responsible for the destruction of Krypton – Brainiac – begins his descent upon Earth. Brainiac has crossed the universe, collecting cities from interesting planets – including Supergirl’s home city of Kandor – and now the all-knowing, ever-improving android has his sights fixed on Metropolis. Superman must summon all of his physical and intellectual resources to protect his city, the love of his life and his newly-arrived cousin.

Warner Home Video has released four new interview clips with actress Stana Katic, the voice of Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman: Unbound animated feature. Additional stills from the movie, featuring Lois Lane, are also included below. Hitting home video and digital outlets on May 7th, 2013, Superman: Unbound is the latest installment of the ongoing DC Universe Animated Original Movie line. Superman: Unbound adapts the acclaimed 2008 Action Comics storyline “Superman: Brainiac” by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank. Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with new clips and stills from the upcoming new Teen Titans Go! episode “Driver’s Ed”/”Dog Hand,” airing Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at 7:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. The half-hour comedy/adventure series – which features two 11-minute tales – airs new episodes Tuesdays at 7:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with rebroadcasts airing during the DC Nation programming block Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10:30am (ET/PT). “Teen Titans Go!” Scores Hits High Ratings In Series Debut

Cartoon Network provided the following press details concerning the performance of the series debut of Teen Titans Go!, which aired on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 on Cartoon Network. The half-hour animated series – which features two 11-minute tales – airs new episodes Tuesdays at 7:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with rebroadcasts airing during the DC Nation programming block Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10:30am (ET/PT). The debut of Warner Bros. Animation’s new animated comedy-action series Teen Titans Go! on Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30/6:30c on Cartoon Network packed a ratings punch, ranking as the #1 kids program of the day on basic cable among Boys 2-11, 6-11, 9-14 and Male Teens.

It also ranked #1 in its time period among Kids 2-11 & 6-11 as well as Boys 2-11, 6-11, 9-14 and Male Teens, outpacing its timeslot competition on Nickelodeon and DisneyXD by double- and triple-digits among the show’s key demos of Kids 6-11 and Boys 6-11.

Teen Titans Go! delivered a 5.0 rating among its key demo of Boys 6–11 and more than two million Total Viewers

-Among Boys 6–11, the 5.0 rating for Teen Titans Go! improved Cartoon Network’s performance in the time period by +117% versus last week (2.3 rating for The Amazing World of Gumball).

-Also among Boys 6–11, Teen Titans Go! grew from its lead-in by +35% (3.7 rating for Johnny Test)
