Canadian Bilingual Package Art For “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Deluxe Edition” Blu-ray

Warner Home Video Canada has provided The World’s Finest with the Canadian bilingual package artwork for the upcoming Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Deluxe Edition Blu-ray home video release. The new special collection features both Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part One and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part Two animated movies, which were originally released separately in late 2012/early 2013, together as one package on both Blu-ray and DVD. The three-disc Deluxe Edition Blu-ray and two-disc Deluxe Edition DVD are set to hit shelves on October 8th, 2013, and will feature a mix of both exclusive content and previously-released content, in addition to both animated movies combined into a single narrative. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Deluxe Edition

From the chronicles of the DC Universe comes the sweeping saga of rebirth, revenge and redemption. WaterTower Music will also be releasing a special Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Deluxe Edition two-disc soundtrack release – available via Amazon.com-exclusive compact disc or iTunes digital download – on October 8th, 2013. Image And Clip From New DC Nation “Deadman” Animated Short

Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation have released media for new animated short-form content set to debut this Saturday, September 28th, 2013 during the DC Nation programming block. The animated short “Deadman” will make its debut this weekend. The hour-long DC Nation programming block airs Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. The DC Nation animated shorts star a host of different DC Comics characters in varying styles, and are usually paired with live-action interstitials. Video Clips And Images Released For Upcoming New Episode Of “Beware The Batman”

Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with new stills and clips from the upcoming Beware The Batman episode “Sacrifice,” airing Saturday, September 28th, 2013 at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. Beware The Batman
“Sacrifice” airs Saturday, September 28th, 2013 on Cartoon Network

Anarky returns once again to challenge Batman – but this time, his plan is far more deadly. Stealing a valuable object from the League of Assassins, Anarky pins the blame on Batman. At the same time, Anarky informs Batman that he knows where he can find the League. Although he knows it’s a trap, Batman goes with Katana anyway. As it turns out, Anarky has led both Batman, Katana, League leader Lady Shiva and her ninja assassins to a building that handles rare and deadly diseases. Once inside, Anarky releases one of the airborne viruses in the building. Now Batman and the others have to find a way to escape before being killed. One more thing: if the virus gets out…Gotham is doomed!
