New York Comic-Con And The Paley Center Celebrate “Batman: The Brave And The Bold” Blu-ray

Warner Home Video has provided press details for an upcoming event, held by The Paley Center for Media New York in conjunction with New York Comic-Con 2013, celebrating the early November 2013 release of Batman: The Brave and The Bold – The Complete First Season on Blu-ray from Warner Archive. The special panel event, held on Friday, October 11th at The Paley Center for Media in New York City, will feature an appearances by the cast and crew of Batman: The Brave and The Bold and an assortment of surprises. Warner Archive Collection and The Paley Center for Media, in conjunction with New York Comic Con, proudly present a special event celebrating Warner Archive’s upcoming Blu-ray™ release of Batman: The Brave And The Bold on Friday, October 11 at 7:00 pm. The popular animated television series will be celebrated with an episodic screening and a lively panel discussion featuring Diedrich Bader, the voice of Batman, at The Paley Center for Media in New York City (25 West 52nd Street).

Extremely popular on Cartoon Network, Batman: The Brave And The Bold teams the Dark Knight with some of DC Comics’ favorite and more eclectic heroes, including the Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, Green Lantern, Kamandi, Doctor Fate, Jonah Hex, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Mister Miracle and The Atom. The combinations create a perfect mesh of fast-paced action and humor for the first season, which spans 26 episodes.

Batman: The Brave And The Bold is Warner Archive Collection’s first-ever animated release on Blu-ray™ disc. Anticipated street date is early November 2013.

Fans attending the October 11 event will have the opportunity to watch an episode and select clips of Batman: The Brave And The Bold, and hear from a distinguished panel that will include Bader, producer James Tucker, 8-time Emmy Award-winning dialogue director Andrea Romano, and Warner Archive podcasters Matt Patterson and DW Ferranti. Moderator Gary Miereanu might even have some unique prizes waiting for a few lucky audience members.

A limited number of free tickets are available for the general public. Fans wishing to receive free tickets to the New York event on must RSVP via email to BatmanBATB@gmail.com.

The body of all fan RSVP emails MUST include the following:
Name of the entrant
A valid email address
The name of the media outlet/website by which the entrant learned of the screening

Tickets will be distributed on a “first come, first served” basis, and fans will be notified via email.

The compact disc soundtrack, available for purchase through both www.lalalandrecords.com and other soundtrack boutiques, is a limited edition of 2000 units. Initial “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Deluxe Edition” Soundtrack Details Released

WaterTower Music has released initial details and cover artwork for the upcoming Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Deluxe Edition – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack release. The soundtrack, featuring music by Christopher Drake, will be available as both a Digital Download, via assorted digital retailers, and an Amazon.com-exclusive Compact Disc beginning October 8th, 2013. Pricing for both digital and compact disc releases are not yet verified. The soundtrack release is currently listed for pre-order on iTunes, and should be added this week to the Amazon.com site. The soundtrack is being released to coincide with the home video release of the DC Universe Animated Original Movie title Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Deluxe Edition, hitting shelves on October 8th, 2013 on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download from Warner Home Video. New Image Released From Upcoming “Justice League: War” Animated Feature

Warner Home Video has released a new image from the upcoming direct-to-video Justice League: War animated feature. Green Lantern Hal Jordan takes the center stage in the newly-release content. The upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie title, scheduled for release come Early 2014 from Warner Home Video, will be an adaptation of the “Justice League: Origin” storyline recently published by DC Comics. “Justice League: Origin,” written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, kicked off the comic publisher’s current ongoing “The New 52” comic-line initiative. Justin Kirk will provide the voice for Green Lantern in the animated feature.

Additional cast details for Justice League: War include Jason O’Mara as Batman, Alan Tudyk as Superman, Michelle Monaghan as Wonder Woman, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Sean Astin as Shazam, and Steve Blum as Darkseid. Jay Oliva is confirmed as director for Justice League: War, with Heath Corson adapting the original “Justice League: Origin” comic book storyline.

Justice League: War is set for release come Early 2014 as part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line from Warner Home Video. Video Clips, Images Released For Upcoming New Episode Of “Beware The Batman”

Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with new stills and clips from the upcoming Beware The Batman episode “Control,” airing Saturday, September 21st, 2013 at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. Beware The Batman
“Control” airs Saturday, September 21st, 2013 on Cartoon Network

Desperate to gain access to the Ion Cortex after the kidnapping failure of Jason Burr, the League of Assassins instead send one of their specialized members to steal the information from Burr’s mind. Half human and half computer upgrade, the assassin Cypher breaks into Jason’s lab and takes over his mind. Batman and Katana try to stop him, but Katana inadvertently allows herself to be captured when she sees Jason being harmed. Now controlling both Jason and Katana, Cypher escapes with Batman in pursuit. Now, Batman must not only face Cypher, but his well-trained protégé Katana!
