Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with a first look at the October 2013 schedule for new Beware The Batman episodes slated to debut. Beware The Batman, which airs Saturdays at 10:00am (ET/PT) as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network, offers a radical new take on the established Batman mythos. Beware The Batman is the latest animated series based on DC Comics characters to be added to DC Nation, Cartoon Network’s Saturday morning hour-long programming block. The series is joined by Teen Titans Go! at 10:30am (ET/PT) and additional all-new DC Nation animated shorts. Only two new episodes of Beware The Batman are slated to air during the month. “Instinct” – Pyg and Toad are back! This time, targeting victims in the fashion industry, culminating in a showdown with Batman and Katana on a yacht filled with the glitterati.

“Attraction” – Magpie returns… and is determined to take out Batman’s new partner Katana at any cost.

Beware The Batman reruns for the month include “Hunted” on Saturday, October 12th, 2013, “Secrets” on Sunday, October 13th, 2013, “Tests” on Saturday, October 19th, 2013, and “Safe” on Sunday, October 20th, 2013. Cartoon Network describes the series as follows, as seen below.

A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this action-packed detective thriller deftly redefines what we have come to know as a “Batman show.” Featuring cutting-edge CGI visuals to match the intricate twists and turns of the narrative, Batman steps out of the shadows and into the spotlight for an entirely new generation of fans.
