Video Clip, Images From Next Week’s New Episode Of “Teen Titans Go!”

Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with stills and a clip from the new Teen Titans Go! episode “Puppets Whaaaaat?,” airing Thursday, June 5th, 2014 at 6:00pm (ET/PT). The half-hour comedy/adventure series – which features two 15-minute episodes – airs Thursdays at 6:00pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with rebroadcasts airing at select times during the week. The new Teen Titans Go! segment “Puppets Whaaaaat?” will be paired with a broadcasting of a previously-aired episode. As previously reported by The World’s Finest, new episodes of Teen Titans Go! will now air regularly on Thursdays.

“Puppets Whaaaaat?” airs Thursday, June 5th, 2014 on Cartoon Network

Robin makes marionette versions of the other Titans as a way to deal with their lack of respect. However, he takes things a little too far when he wishes the real Titans were more like his puppets and The Puppet Wizard grants his wish.

“Puppets Whaaaaat?” is the final episode in the first 52-episode order for Teen Titans Go!, with episodes from the second season order of Teen Titans Go! expected to debut in the very near future. “Mixels”-brand shorts are also slated to air with second season episodes of Teen Titans Go!, leaving the fate of un-aired DC Nation animated shorts currently unknown.

Sales Numbers For Complete “Beware The Batman” Comic Series

The sales numbers for all six issues of the Beware The Batman comic series, which ended publication in March 2014, are now available. The comic book, from publisher DC Comics and DC Entertainment, was based on the Cartoon Network animated series of the same name. Expanding on the continuity of the Beware The Batman cartoon, the comic spotlighted Batman as he faced off against the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana. The animated series is currently airing Saturday nights at 3:00am (ET/PT) as part of the Toonami programming block on Adult Swim, recently returning to air after an extended broadcast hiatus.

Sales numbers for all six issues of the series can be found below.

For the entire duration of the comic title’s run, the animated source material was on hiatus from Cartoon Network. The Beware The Batman comic series debuted in October 2014, releasing new issues on a monthly schedule until DC Comics cancelled the title with issue #6. For comparison, the final issue of the Young Justice comic series finished with just over 7,000 units sold for issue #25. The Green Lantern: The Animated Series comic finished below 5,000 with issue #14.

Cartoon Network has announced Teen Titans Go! will move to a new night and time starting in June 2014. The action-comedy series will now air Thursdays at 6:00pm (ET/PT) starting June 5th, 2014. Airing with Teen Titans Go! is the short-form program DC Nation, featuring animated shorts and behind-the-scenes content starring a host of DC Comics characters. DC Nation usually airs during the commercial break following the 6:30pm (ET/PT) episode of Teen Titans Go!. Teen Titans Go! is in reruns for the remainder of May 2014.
