Bio: Before H.A.R.D.A.C. was destroyed, there was one final
duplicate made--Bruce Wayne (aka Batman). The Batman Duplicate was
mysteriously reactivated while it was in storage in a warehouse.
H.A.R.D.A.C. was created by Karl Rossum in a vein attempt to eliminate
human error. The duplicate thought it was the real Bruce/Batman, and it
wa sonly until it discovered the truth in the Bat-Cave did it discover
the real truth, and let H.A.R.D.A.C. take control of it's mechanical
body. In a final bout with Batman, it had all but when, but when the
duplicate believed it had killed the original Bruce Wayne, it went
against it's programming and sacrificed himself to stop H.A.R.D.A.C.
from being reborn. The Duplicate was never evil, just doing as it
thought was right, and what it was later programmed to do. As Batman
said: "Could it be it had a soul, Alfred? A soul of silicon. . . But a
soul, nonetheless. " |
