The World's Finest Presents
Episode #081 - Harley's Holiday
Original Airdate - October 15th, 1994

Discharged from Arkham Asylum, Harley Quinn tries to lead a sane, normal life. Sadly, she just can't seem to stay out of trouble, and when a misunderstanding occurs, Harley makes the situation worse by stealing Bruce Wayne's car and kidnapping his girlfriend. This ignites a screwball chase that not only involves Batman and Robin, but the police, army, and Gotham's most dangerous gangsters as well.

Quotes
SCARECROW: I am the master of fear! The lord of despair! Cower before me and witness terror!
HARLEY: Hi, Professor Crane!
SCARECROW: Good evening, child. (To Batman) Worship me, you fools! Worship me! Scream hosannas of anguish to Scarecrow, the all-terrible God of fear!
SCARECROW IS TAKEN AWAY BY ORDERLIES.
ROBIN: I think he's getting better.
--
HARLEY: Come on, babies! We're going shopping!
ONE OF THE HYENAS SHRUGS TO THE OTHER.
--
VERONICA: Who dresses you anyway? Alfred?
BRUCE: Well. . . Actually. . .
--
HARLEY: Hey, don't I know you?
BRUCE: I don't think so. . .
HARLEY COVERS BRUCE'S UPPER FACE WITH HER HAND.
HARLEY: Something about that chin. . . I know!
BRUCE LOOKS STARTLED.
HARLEY: You're Bruce Wayne! The boy billionaire!
BRUCE RELAXES.
--
HARLEY: I tried to play by the rules, but no, they wouldn't let me go straight! Society is to blame!
--
ROBIN: Sounds like Harley didn't waste any time getting into trouble.
BATMAN: She's good at that.
--
BOXY GRABS VERONICA AND AIMS A GUN AT BATMAN.
BOXY: Back off, freak, or the dame's history!
A FISH KNOCKS BOXY OVER THE HEAD.
HARLEY (brandishing fish): Get your own hostage!
--
BOXY: As we gamblers say 'you just crapped out'.
--
HARLEY: I do kinda feel a little responsible for this.
VERONICA: No kidding.
--
A TANK COMES OVER THE BRIDGE AND HEADS AT THE CAR.
GENERAL: You in the car! Release your hostage immediately!
VERONICA: Daddy!
HARLEY: Daddy?
HARLEY FLOORS IT AWAY FROM THE TANK.
VERONICA: Wait! What are you doing? That's my father!
HARLEY: No. That's your father IN A TANK!
--
GENERAL: I've got you now. . .
BULLOCK: . . . You screwy little. . .
BOXY: . . . Trouble making clown!
--
HARLEY: I'm having a bad day! I'm sick of people trying to shoot me, run me over and blow me up!
--
HARLEY: I think I made a mess on your cape.
--
HARLEY: There's one thing I gotta know. Why did you stay with me all day, risking your butt for somebody who's never given you anything but trouble?
BATMAN: I know what it's like to try and rebuild a life.
BATMAN TAKES OUT A BAG AND HANDS HARLEY HER DRESS THAT SHE BOUGHT EARLIER.
BATMAN: I had a bad day too, once.
HARLEY: Nice guys like you shouldn't have bad days.
HARLEY GIVES BATMAN A SMALL KISS ON THE CHEEK. HARLEY TURNS AROUND AS BATMAN LOOKS SORT OF BEWILDERED. HARLEY THEN GETS AN IDEA, TOSSES THE DRESS TO THE FLOOR, AND GIVES BATMAN A BIG KISS ON THE LIPS. ROBIN LOOKS AT IVY IN HER CELL, BOTH OF THEM BEWILDERED AS WELL. HARLEY BREAKS THE KISS.
HARLEY: Call me.
BATMAN (smiling): Don't press your luck.
BATMAN AND ROBIN LEAVE.
HARLEY (to Ivy): Eh, what are you lookin' at?
IVY SMILES.

Review: A tale about a day in the life of Harley Quinn. And what a day! It was a very comical look and side-step from the normal Batman Animated Series; an outlandish tale that goes too far, but remains funny. Such scenes like Robin using fish to beat up a thug, General Vreeland chasing Harley in a tank, and the constant car crashes that Bullock had. It was also funny to have Batman, Robin, General Vreeland, Boxy Bennet, and Detective Bullock all chasing Harley across the city.

The animation, as usual, was the standard of Adventures of Batman & Robin. Batman looked a bit strange (his chin did, at least) at times, but it was made up for with the nice animation, especially all of the vehicles going this was and that, and the beautiful explosions.
