Quotes
NUMBERS: Nah, you'll pay. You make a mistake, you always pay.
BATMAN LANDS BEHIND THE THUGS.
BATMAN: My sentiments exactly.
--
BATMAN: Do I look stressed out to you?
ROBIN: You? Get out of town!
BATMAN: Exactly. I think I need a vacation.
--
BRUCE: What happened to my parents is no secret.
STRANGE: But no one knows you feel it was your fault, yes?
BRUCE: I was only a child! There was nothing I could do.
STRANGE: But you wanted to do something. You were filled with anger. You desired what? A need filled you. All consuming, all controlling. . . What was it, Mr. Wayne? What was it?
BRUCE (struggling): I-- wanted--
BATS BEGIN TO SWARM ON THE VISUAL THOUGHT MONITOR.
STRANGE: Yes?
BRUCE: Revenge!
THE BATMAN LOGO APPEARS ON DR. STRANGE'S MONITOR. THE SCREEN GOES BLANK.
BRUCE: Your-- relaxation therapy doesn't seem to be working too well on me, Dr. Strange.
STRANGE: The first session is ofttimes traumatic. We will continue tomorrow, yes?
BRUCE: I'll. . . have to think about it. Good day, doc.
BRUCE LEAVES.
STRANGE: And good day to you. . . Batman.

JOKER'S ANSWERING MACHINE: Aha ha ha ha ha! Boy, did you get the wrong number! Leave your name and number at the sound of the shriek.
VOICE ON MACHINE: No, please! Don't! Aurgh!

TWO-FACE: Get out of my face, clown!
JOKER: Which one?

STRANGE STOPS THE TAPE.
STRANGE: Wait! That's not the right tape!
--
STRANGE: Joker, please! I was set up! Bruce Wayne is Batman!
TWO-FACE: That's absurd! I know Bruce Wayne. If he's Batman, I'm the King of England.
--
JOKER: Remember! It's not the fall! It's the sudden stop!
--
DICK (as Bruce): Not bad, eh? Maybe I'll chuck this crime fighting gig and try Hollywood.

Review: This episode seemed quite rushed, and would have done a lot better as two parts, first Bruce exploring the Doctor's lab and doing sessions. Second, having the villains show up for the auction and the finale. The episode was still well done, and very funny at sometimes, especially small things about the Joker. One scene, Penguin and Two-Face pull guns while Joker pulls out a bouquet of flowers. Another scene, after a plane comes to a complete and safe stop, Joker leaps out of the door with the parachute and hits the ground.

The animation was sub-par, with many chunky drawings and some inconsistency. Joker looked sort of bad, but Two-Face was not always looking like himself and Penguin was often way too huge weight-wise.
