Quotes
BATMAN: Reports of a huge bat creature the size of a man.
Remind you of anybody?
ALFRED: Present company excepted? Indeed, sir, it does.
--
KIRK: Don't you get it yet, Batman? You failed!
--
BATMAN: I'll be in touch.
--
BATMAN AND THE BATCYCLE GETS DRAGGED DOWN THE TRAIN TRACKS BY THE
MAN-BAT. SUDDENLY, A TRAIN COMES DOWN THE TRACKS.
BATMAN: The end of a perfect day.
BATMAN LEAPS OFF THE CYCLE AND THE TRAIN BASHES IT TO PIECES.
--
MARCH: I had been working through the night. I was just completing the
final combination. Francine burst in. I was startled. You have to
understand I was very tired. I accidently dropped the beaker. The whole
night's work ruined! Francine never guess what I had been doing. She
even helped me clean up the mess. All that glass. . .
MARCH REMEMBERS THAT FRANCINE CUT HERSELF ON THE MUTAGEN COVERED GLASS.
MARCH: Oh! Oh my lord! Francine! The mutagen! It's in her bloodstream
now! Oh no!
BATMAN: Is that what it's going to take, your daughter's life, before
you end this insanity?
--
KIRK: I've got you, honey! And this time. . . I'm not letting you go.
FRANCINE: Kirk!
KIRK: The nightmare's finally over.
Review: A nice sequel to On
Leather Wings, not nearly as good, but still well done in it's own
respect. There were two very well done chase sequences: the Batcycle vs
Man-Bat and the Batwing vs Man-Bat. (Or She-Bat, I guess) There was some
nice detective work too, and some nice twists than having the original
Man-Bat come back.
The animation was not to great at times, especially when Francine
changes into the She-Bat and back to her normal form. At one point, she
looks like the Mad Hatter in the change back. Batman also looks very
cartoonish when She-Bat knocks him against the bridge and he lands in
the snow with his head up.
It was an okay episode, but again, not nearly as good as the first
Man-Bat episode.
