Bruce Timm Talks "Paradise Lost" By Jim Harvey 01-19-2002 An all-new episode of Justice League will air on Monday at 9:30pm (ET) entitled "Paradise Lost" and will deal with Wonder Woman returning to the home island of Themiscrya. But when she arrives, she finds that things have changed, and a villian named Felix Faust has taken the island over! Toon Zone was able to catch up with Bruce Timm about this much anticipated episode. "'Paradise Lost' I thought came out great. The last of the hollywood-style JL "super-spectaculars". Part 2 has one of the most ridiculously huge set-piece climaxes we've ever done. We frankly were worried that we'd pushed it too far, it could have been a disaster. Thank god our friends at KoKo stepped up to the plate and knocked it clear out of the park!" said Timm. "EVERYONE did a great job on this episode. Kris Carter delivered one of his most astonishing scores under very adverse conditions. The very last music cue at the end of part 2 is probably the single most beautiful piece of music we've ever had in one of our shows. Robert Englund's perfect as Felix Faust and Jon Rhys-Davies is especially creepy as Lord Hades. Susan Eisenberg's performance as Wonder Woman will hopefully put to rest all the voice-cast bashers on the web...if it doesn't, i give up!" Originally posted on Toon Zone News. [ Back to Backstage ] |
