Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, the next installment of the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line, will hit Blu-ray and DVD on January 27th, 2015. The Blu-ray will contain all-new featurettes, a preview of the next DC Universe Animated Original Movie title and four bonus cartoons. Justice League: Throne of Atlantis spotlights the origins of Aquaman and his first meeting with the Justice League. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will bring a trio of highly anticipated titles to New York Comic Con, including panels featuring Adam West & Batman: The Complete Television Series, a first-look at Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, and a star-studded further unveiling of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.
Adam West opens the weekend on Thursday, October 9 at 6:45pm on the Main Stage of the Javits Center with a Bat-tastic look at Batman: The Complete Television Series, the most anticipated home entertainment release in fanboy history. Fans will get an inside sneak peak – courtesy of the iconic Batman for all time, Adam West – at all the exclusive content, as well as dazzling HD remastered footage from the landmark series. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Batman: The Complete Television Series on November 11, 2014.
On Friday, October 10 at 7:15pm on the Empire Stage, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment continues its NYCC tradition of unveiling the first footage from its next film – and this time it’s Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, the animated origin story of Aquaman. Fans will be treated to full clips & lively discussion courtesy of Aquaman himself, Matt Lanter, alongside producer James Tucker, screenwriter Heath Corson, character designer Phil Bourassa, and 8-time Emmy winning dialogue director Andrea Romano. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, the film will arrive on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD in early 2015.
LEGO® Batman™ 3: Beyond Gotham swoops into New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 11 at Noon on the Main Stage to take convention goers on a galactic adventure in the DC Universe with an exciting, star-studded panel led by actors Kevin Smith and Troy Baker, TT Games developers Arthur Parsons and Stephen Sharples, DC Entertainment’s Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns – plus, a special guest appearance by Stephen Amell, star of hit TV series Arrow! The panelists will go behind-the-scenes of this year’s ultimate Super Hero adventure for all ages and reveal new characters, show off exclusive gameplay demos and give away unbelievable prizes.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new video clip the upcoming feature Batman: Assault on Arkham, the next installment in the ongoing DC Universe Animated Original Movie line. The clip features Batman taking on a tactical unit under the direction of Amanda Waller. The animated movie – which will be available August 12th, 2014 on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD – features a new story based on the popular Batman: Arkham video game series. In Batman: Assault on Arkham, a routine mission by the Suicide Squad to stop The Riddler goes awry when The Joker gets involved, drawing the attention of Batman.

Batman: Assault on Arkham enjoyed a rousing reception at its July 25 premiere at Comic-Con International, delighting a room of 4,250 fans for the screening and panel discussion amongst actors Kevin Conroy (Batman), Matthew Gray Gubler (Riddler), Troy Baker (Joker) and John DiMaggio (King Shark), and producer James Tucker, director Jay Oliva, screenwriter Heath Corson and dialogue director Andrea Romano.
Toward the end of the panel, producer James Tucker announced the DCU slate for 2015:
– Coming in early 2015, the Aquaman origin story, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis
– Arriving sometime in the first half of 2015, Batman vs. Robin, which will feature the first-ever animated appearance of The Court of Owls.
– And potentially premiering at Comic-Con 2015 will be Justice League: Gods and Monsters, marking a return to the DCU films by animation legend Bruce Timm for this special film. Timm developed the original story and many of the character designs for Justice League: Gods and Monsters, and is producing the film. (Note: James Tucker will continue serving as DCU producer following “Gods and Monsters”)

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released details for the 2015 titles of the acclaimed DC Universe Animated Original Movie home video line at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. The new 2015 titles, which highlight Batman and the Justice League, were announced on Friday, July 24th, 2014 during the world premiere of the new Batman: Assault on Arkham animated feature.
The upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie titles announced include Batman Versus Robin, which will feature The Court of Owls from the Batman comic series, coming for Summer 2015. Please note, the movie is not an adaptation of the storyline of the same name. Then, Justice League: Gods and Monsters will see release come Mid/Late 2015, and will be an original story written by Alan Burnett and directed by Sam Liu. These two titles will join the previously announced Justice League: Throne of Atlantis animated feature, slated for Winter/Spring 2014, with details on that title originally broken right here at The World’s Finest.
A co-production of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line adapts stories from DC Comics lore mixed with new content. At least three new titles have been released a year since the line’s inception in 2007.

The Canadian network Teletoon is slated to air the 2010 direct-to-video movie Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths during the network’s “Teletoon Superfan Friday” programming block on Friday, August 1st, 2014. Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths, part of the direct-to-video DC Universe Animated Original Movie line from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, finds the superhero team facing off against their evil alternate reality doubles. The weekly “Teletoon Superfan Friday” programming block on Teletoon, airing Fridays starting at 7:00pm (ET/PT), features a mix of super-hero animated television proagrams and movies.
