“Lego DC Super Hero Girls: Super-Villain High” Hits DVD May 15, Digital HD May 1

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced Lego DC Super Hero Girls: Super-Villain High, the latest animated movie based on the popular DC Super Hero Girls initiative, will hit DVD on May 15, 2018. Everyone’s favorite female Super Heroes are left to deal with a new rival when a mysterious high school pops up in the all-new animated film, Lego DC Super Hero Girls: Super-Villain High. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC Entertainment and The LEGO Group, the film – a continuation in the worldwide DC Super Hero Girls franchise phenomenon – will be distributed by Warner Bros. After a mysterious school opens across the street, the students of Super Hero High find themselves up against a new threat. Now, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl and the rest of the DC Super Hero Girls not only have to worry about the well-being of their grades, but the safety and security of friends, family and the rest of civilization. The girls must figure out how to put a stop to this evil, new cross-town rival and save the world once again!

DC Super Hero GirlsThe Lego DC Super Hero Girls: Super-Villain Hig voice cast returns its core cast with Grey Griffin (Wonder Woman), Tara Strong (Harley Quinn/Poison Ivy), Anais Fairweather (Supergirl), Teala Dunn (Bumblebee), Stephanie Sheh (Katana), and Ashlyn Selich (Batgirl). Rick Morales (Lego Scooby-Doo! Haunted Hollywood) serves as producer, with Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!), Jill Wilfert (The Lego Movie, The Lego Batman Movie) and Robert Fewkes (Lego Frozen Northern Lights) serving as executive producers.

Final Trailer For “The Lego Batman Movie” Released

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the final trailer for the upcoming The Lego Batman Movie animated feature. The highly-anticipated The Lego Movie spin-off hits theatres on February 10, 2017. Check out the trailer in the player below.

Will Arnett reprises his role from The Lego Movie as the voice of the Dark Knight, with Michael Cera voicing Robin, Rosario Dawson voicing Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes voicing Alfred Pennyworth, Mariah Carey voicing Gotham’s mayor, and Zach Galifianakis voicing The Joker. Warner Bros. Pictures describes the film as follows:

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The Lego Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – Lego Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

It is written by Seth Grahame-Smith and Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, with additional screenplay material by Jared Stern & John Whittington, based on LEGO Construction Toys. Jill Wilfert, Matthew Ashton and Will Allegra serve as executive producers.

Pictures and Warner Animation Group, in association with LEGO System A/S, a Lin Pictures / Lord Miller / Vertigo Entertainment production, The Lego Batman Movie will open in theaters on February 10, 2017. Teaser Trailer For “The Lego Batman Movie” Released

Warner Bros. Pictures released the teaser trailer for the upcoming The Lego Batman Movie, the forthcoming The Lego Movie spin-off, slated to hit theatres on February 10, 2017. Will Arnett plays the Caped Crusader in the animated comedy. Check out the teaser in the player below.

The studio has also released a brief synopsis for the film. The film is described as follows:

The story is set around the solitary figure in his killer hide-out – all the Batsuits and silk kimonos he wants – but whose main relationship is with his butler Alfred (voiced by Ralph Fiennes). Batman’s world upends with the introduction of Dick Grayson (or Robin, voiced by Michael Cera) and Barbara Gordon (or Batgirl, voiced by Rosario Dawson).

The Lego Batman Movie is directed by Chris McKay.
