Actor Christopher Gorham Talks Playing The Flash In “Justice League: War,” New York Premiere Tonight

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has provided interview clips with actor Christopher Gorham discussing his role as The Flash in the upcoming Justice League: War animated feature. Justice League: War is an adaptation of the “Justice League: Origin” storyline recently published by DC Comics, written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, which kicked off the comic publisher’s current ongoing “The New 52″ comic-line initiative.

And, despite the stormy weather, the film’s debut at The Paley Center for Media in New York City is still scheduled for tonight. A representative for Warner Bros. Home Entertainment says, “The city is being battered with a powerful snowstorm, but not strong enough to withstand the Justice League … so the show will go on as planned.” The event kicks off at 6:30pm (ET) with doors opening at 6:00pm (ET). Exclusive prizes will also be given away. Gorham will be part of the talent on hand, along with Producer James Tucker, Director Jay Oliva, Dialogue Director Andrea Romano, and Character Designer Phil Bourassa.

Continue below for interview clips featuring Gorham. A new still from the highly-anticipated animated feature, featuring The Flash fighting Darkseid, is included above.

Covert Affairs star Christopher Gorham will be the featured voice cast member at tonight’s World Premiere of Justice League: War at The Paley Center for Media in New York. Voicing the Flash was Gorham’s maiden voyage into animation voiceovers, and the affable actor took right to the role. The three interview clips feature Gorham discussing:

1. Flash and his role in the film.
2. Flash being one of this all-time favorite super heroes
3. A youth spent playing Super Hero role play games

About Justice League: War
When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, Justice League: War provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”

The celebrity laden cast features primetime television stars Jason O’Mara (Terra Nova, Vegas, Life on Mars) as Batman, Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs) as Flash, Justin Kirk (Weeds) as Green Lantern, Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds) as Cyborg, Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible III, Gone Baby Gone) as Wonder Woman, Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory, 42, Serenity) as Superman, Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) as Shazam, and Rocky Carroll (NCIS) as Silas Stone. On the villainous side, popular voice actor Steve Blum (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox) provides the voice of Darkseid, and Bruce Thomas (Legally Blonde, Army of Darkness) gives voice to Desaad.
