“Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures” Comic Collection Coming July 2017

IDW Publishing and DC Comics announced a collection of the monthly Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic mini-series will hit shelves in July 2017. The mini-series, written by Matthew K. Manning with art by Jon Sommariva, has been a successful venture for the co-publishers, earning both critical and fan acclaim. In Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, villains start to mysteriously escape Arkham and Batman seeks to track them down, but he discovers that they have left Gotham completely… and gone to the New York City of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. “Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman,” “Superman: Brainiac Attacks” Now Available On Blu-ray

The animated features Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman and Superman: Brainiac Attacks are both now available to own on the Blu-ray format from Warner Home Video. The suggested retail price for both titles is $14.98. Both titles were previously released to DVD and for legal download from select online vendors. The new Blu-ray releases for Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman and Superman: Brainiac Attacks carry over the majority of bonus material from the original DVD releases, with the exception of time-specific or format specific features. Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman originally debuted on DVD home video in 2003, with Superman: Brainiac Attacks released to home video in 2006. Continue below for package artwork.

The Hub To Air “The New Batman Adventures” Episodes Later This Month

Episodes from the The New Batman Adventures era of Batman: The Animated Series will return to The Hub starting later this month. According to schedule details provided by the network, episodes “Holiday Knights” and “Sins of the Father” will air back-to-back on September 17th, 2012 starting at 7:00pm (ET/PT), kicking off a run of The New Batman Adventures episodes. An hour of Batman: The Animated Series episodes air immediately following Superman: The Animated Series at 6:30pm (ET/PT). Continue below for specific episode details.

La-La- Land Records Confirms Further “Batman: The Animated Series” Soundtracks Coming

A representative for La-La Land Records confirms that at least one more multi-disc soundtrack CD release for Batman: The Animated Series is on the way, with soundtrack titles for other cartoons based on DC Comics properties in the works. The record label announced Batman: The Animated Series – Original Soundtrack From The Warner Bros. Television Series, Volume Two over the weekend – the four-disc DC soundtrack follow-up to the 2008 sell-out hit Batman: The Animated Series – Original Soundtrack From The Warner Bros. Television Series, Volume One – which will be available later this month through the San Diego Comic-Con 2012 and the label’s official website.

According to the representative, Batman: The Animated Series – Original Soundtrack From The Warner Bros. Television Series, Volume Three – set for a tentative 2013 release – will include score material from “Robin’s Reckoning, Parts 1 and 2,” “Day of the Samurai,” “The Clock King,” and other select episodes from the first 65 episodes from the acclaimed animated series. Following that release, La-La Land Records plans to produce multi-disc CD soundtrack releases for episodes from the The Adventures of Batman & Robin and The New Batman Adventures eras of the acclaimed 1990s animated series. Soundtracks for the direct-to-video animated features Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero and Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman are also tentatively in the works.

Additionally, the label is looking at releasing soundtrack titles for Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, and other as-of-yet unnamed animated shows and movies based on DC Comics properties within the next few years.

The World’s Finest will continue to follow and cover these soundtrack releases titles.

Batman: The Animated Series – Original Soundtrack From The Warner Bros. Television Series, Volume Two will be exclusively available from July 11-15th, 2012 at San Diego Comic-Con courtesy of La-La Land Records at Booth 429, before going wide at 1pm (PT) on July 19th, 2012 through the label’s official website and specialty outlets. The Hub “The New Batman Adventures” Network Premiere Coming December 2011

Episodes from the The New Batman Adventures era of Batman: The Animated Series are set to debut on The Hub in December 2011. This will be the first time these episodes have aired on the network. The Hub network, the rebranded name of the late Discovery Kids channel, recently celebrated its first anniversary on the air. The The New Batman Adventures era of Batman: The Animated Series consists of the last 24 episodes of the acclaimed series in addition to related animated features. Batman: The Animated Series airs two back-to-back episodes every Monday to Friday at 5:30pm (ET) on The Hub. Continue below for further schedule details.
